behalf of my parents) down at the CO-OP hypermarket and yet, looking back, all I wanted was the love from my parents! I guess the only love they could offer me was Geoff!

I bought this album from Woolworths in the late 70s, i loved it and I played it to death , so glad I found a CD remastered version on Amazon ,brings back so many wonderful memories,, my favourite is from the Poseidon adventure, followed by this classic

this was the first album I ever bought out of my own money, in 1980. I went to Woolworth's to buy Kings Of The Wild Frontier by Adam & The Ants, and after purchasing that I had 50p change, and saw this for 50p in the bargain bin! I used to play it over and over and purposely sought out all the films on VHS when I was able a few years later. Classic memories!

I have heard many versions of the theme tubular bells including the version in the movie to me the best version was the movie version which was not added to the re-release of the cd for copyright reasons but is included in the LP which is deleted and rare to find (luckly i found one after twenty year search) but this version of geoff love is by far one of the best versions as most of his work is good...thanks for posting.

Big Terror Movie Themes is a great listen .I remember I purchased this album when I was a child in the later 70's.I always found the 'Jaws theme to be too frightening to listen to on my own ! There are many highlights on here but one of my favourites was a song called 'The Morning After' from The Poseidon Adventure .

Oh, I know the Lusher clip very well. There must be more on here like it, but I can't face all the trawling to find it. Although I'm certain I'd enjoy every minute of the nostalgia whilst searching! There's a tiny snippet of him playing in a jazz trio in an Only Fools and Horses episode. I've found loads of clips on here where I can HEAR him, but he's not visible! Ach. He deserved his own TV show, in my opinion!

@damerush Other Alf highlights for me are (LPs) - The Detroit Sound - Introducing... (Contour), Ike Isaacs - Plays the Music of Michel Legrand (MFP), Belinda Bell - Stone Valley (EMI/Columbia), and Terry Cavendish - All In An Afternoon's Work (also on CD). Do you reckon that's him at the end of your Eurovision 74 clip? I'm pretty sure it is. He did most of the Eurovisions and Royal Variety Shows of that period. I wish there were more TV clips of him on here, as he was ubiquitous in the 70s!!

@damerush Oh I'm sure that'll be him! Being directed by none other than Ronnie Hazlehurst too. There's a good clip of him on here already, as I recall, playing with the Don Lusher Quartet in part four of the 1978 Black and White Minstrel Show, of all things.

@sweeney4547 On The Move is easy to find on vinyl, on Ebay. Also, it has just been reissued on CD as a twofer w/ The French Collection (another Alf spectacular!). For a taster, look up Rogier van Otterloo - My Dearest Fluffie on here! Yes, I love Ray Davies. Alf is on Mr Park's Something in the Air and Venus Fly Trap - both brilliant. He's on loads of the De Wolfe library LPs too.
