The Saint Of Lost Causes is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle, released in 2019. The album features 12 tracks that showcase Earle's signature blend of Americana, folk, and blues.

The album opens with the title track, a haunting ballad that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Earle's raspy voice is accompanied by a simple acoustic guitar melody, creating a sense of intimacy and vulnerability.

As the album progresses, Earle explores themes of addiction, poverty, and heartbreak. The standout track, "Appalachian Nightmare," is a powerful commentary on the opioid crisis in rural America. The song features a driving rhythm section and Earle's fiery guitar work.

This is "young" Earles best release so far. Seems like he's found his voice and his musical homeground here. I really love this record after hearing it four times.
